Within a circle, ‘sulṭān al-barrayn / wa khāqān al-baḥrayn / al-sulṭān ibn / al-sulṭān’ (‘The sultan of the two lands and the khaqan of the two seas, Sultan son of Sultan’ in Arabic). Rev. Within a circle, ‘Sulṭān Muḥammad / ibn / Ibrāhīm Khān ʿazza / naṣruhū ḍuriba fī / Miṣr sana / …’ (‘Sultan Mehmed son of Ibrahim Khan. May his victory be honoured. Struck in Misr, year …’ in Arabic). Album 1383. Slightly clipped and wavy along the edge, otherwise, very fine.
